My name is Hendrik Tui. I am a rugby player currently playing for the Urayasu Drocks. I represented Japan in the 2015 and 2019 Rugby World Cups.
Besides playing rugby, I have been actively involved in coaching and mentoring rugby skills for young people with various neurological disorders in Australia and New Zealand. The importance of inclusive programs that meet the needs of everyone is one of my beliefs. As a father of two autistic sons, this project has a very special meaning to me. I want to contribute to a more inclusive and accepting world for my sons and for children in the same situation. I think it is a big mission.
私はツイ・ヘンドリックです。ラグビー選手で、現在浦安Dロックスに所属しています。2015年と2019年のラグビーワールドカップでは、日本代表として出場しました。
ラグビーに打ち込む他、オーストラリアやニュージーランドにて、多様な神経障害のある若者向けのラグビースキルのコーチングや指導を行い、積極的に携わってきました。全ての人のニーズに応える、インクルーシブ・プログラムの重要性は、私の信条の一つです。自閉症の息子2人がいる父親の身としても、とても特別な意味を持つプロジェクトです。息子たちのためにも、同じ境遇の子たちのためにも、よりインクルーシブで、互いを認める世界となるよう貢献したい。大きな使命だと思っています。
